Market Patterns, is a series started in a 10 week class called Watercolor Beyond the Obvious, taught by Mike Bailey. I took this class from Feburary to April, 2004. Each student chose a subject and each week painted 2 full sheet (22 x 28 inch) watercolors. I choose to paint outdoor farmer's markets, using the produce, people, and umbrellas as the repeated objects in my designs.  These are some of the paintings from that series.
