For the past 5 years I have been painting site chairman for the Santa Clara Valley Watercolor Society.  This group was formed in 1967 and has been painting at various outdoor sites almost every Thursday since then.  Although I do go out almost every Thursday, often I use it as an opportunity to sketch rather than to do a completed painting.  Other times I will start a painting and finish it at home.  Here are paintings that come from outdoor sessions.
